I am now less likely to get lost in China!

I was browsing around http://watchtolearnchinese.com/ and stumbled across a video about how to ask and give basic directions. Hopefully if I ever end up going to a Mandarin-speaking place, this knowledge might come in handy.

一直走 (Yīzhí zǒu)- Keep doing something (go straight?) (zǒu- to walk)
左拐 (Zuǒ guǎi)- Turn left (Zuǒ- left, guǎi- to turn)
右拐 (Yòu guǎi)- Turn right (Yòu- right)
掉头 (Diàotóu)- U-turn
停(车) (Tíng (chē))- Stop (Tíng- stop, chē- car)
先... 然后 (Xiān... Ránhòu)- First... And then
怎么走 (Zěnme zǒu)- How do you get there (Zěnme- how, zǒu- to walk)

Finally I learned how to say excuse me: 打扰一下 (Dǎrǎo yīxià).

You might wonder why this is on the Orb of Happiness. It's here because I enjoy learning foreign languages and this blog is about happiness and enjoyment.
