Restaurant Vocabulary

In Chinese, the teacher asked a few of us to write some sentences on the board which we might need to learn to say in Chinese for when we go to a restaurant. So we did:

  1. What do you want to eat?
  2. I want to eat spring rolls.
  3. How would you like your steak?
  4. Would you like a fork with that?
  5. Can I please have a fork and knife?
  6. This is too cold.
  7. Can I have the bill please?
  8. The meal costs ¥9 999.87.
  9. What do you want to drink?
  10. I want to drink 10 glasses of beer.
  11. This beer is very hot.
  12. Is this beer?
  13. I demand to see the chef!
  14. The chef left five minutes ago. I will bring the associate manager.
  15. I am not happy with the service.
  16. Would you like some money?
  17. Can you speak English?
